The gap is the portion of income and obligations that savings and existing coverage may not carry. It gives us the amount to evaluate, not a policy quote.

“I love a good procrastinator.”
Mr. Will Due · The neighbor who loves “someday”Promises don’t pay the mortgage.
A protection plan starts with knowing what your family would need to keep going.
Putting life insurance off is easy. There’s always another bill, another priority, another reason to say, “I’ll get around to it.” Mr. Will Due loves that.
But waiting doesn’t pause your age—or guarantee your health stays the same. As you get older, coverage can cost more. A change in health can also affect your price and the options available to you.
Meanwhile, the mortgage, the income your family counts on, and the care that keeps your household running still need a plan.
If you weren’t here tomorrow, what would keep their financial life going? The calculator helps you see what savings and existing coverage could carry—and what might still need protection.

Before your next step
It is an estimate of needs that savings and existing coverage may not meet. This calculator uses 10 years of income replacement, adds debts and optional household care value, then subtracts savings and current insurance. We can review whether those assumptions fit your family.
No. It is an illustrative estimate from a simplified calculator model. Actual premiums, eligibility, and policy features depend on the carrier and underwriting. The delay comparison models a new 20-year policy at each future age, rather than the same calendar period.
Include the coverage you currently have in the savings and insurance field. During your review, confirm its amount and what happens if you change jobs or leave your employer.
Household care has financial value even when it does not produce a paycheck. The optional estimate uses $50,000 a year until the youngest child turns 18. You can discuss a different amount based on your household’s needs.
Only when you click “Email My Completed Protection Snapshot.” Your information is saved when you continue, and your initial calculator assessment is saved when you click “See My Results.” Adjusting assumptions updates the screen. Requesting the email sends the latest displayed snapshot.
Select your state before starting. Your snapshot will carry the selected state’s name. Coverage options and availability depend on the state, carrier, and applicable licensing. Confirm those details with Walter before applying.
Mr. Will Due can wait. Your clarity doesn’t have to.
